Load terms and process

Applying to a load: You can only offer your livestock to loads whose route includes your farm's region. Your exact address is not published.

Collection phase: The load is “Open” until the target number or weight is collected (e.g., 30 animals). Sellers can add and withdraw their livestock during this phase.

Auction start: As soon as the load is full, it is closed to new applications and published as a single, large auction for FARMSTOCK Verified Buyers.

Sales and Pricing: Buyers bid a price per kg (or per head). When the auction concludes with a winner, this fixed price is applied to the livestock of all farmers participating in the load.

Secure Payment (FARMSTOCK Guarantee): To protect sellers, the auction winner (buyer) deposits 100% of the estimated transaction value into the FARMSTOCK escrow account prior to collection. Only after this deposit are farmers given the green light for loading and exact logistics info is revealed.

Weighing and Final Settlement: The actual weight and headcount are strictly recorded at the time of loading. Once the data is confirmed on the platform - the buyer enters the weight and the seller confirms it - FARMSTOCK automatically pays the seller for the actual kilograms at that same moment and refunds any overpayment to the buyer.
