LOTS

Here you can add your animals to the LOTS network. Our operators will match them to the best Lot based on your animals' data and location.

What is LOTE?

LOTE is load consolidation - your animals are combined with similar animals from other farms (by species, age and weight) to build a larger, uniform batch that attracts large export buyers.

  • No full truckload needed - even a few animals qualify
  • Larger volume → better price and access to big/export buyers
  • FARMSTOCK assembles the lot and creates the auction for you
  • Secure cash flow - the buyer pays into the FARMSTOCK escrow account
  • Optimised regional logistics

No time to prepare the auction yourself? FARMSTOCK can come, film and create it for you.

FARMSTOCK On-Farm Service
1

Apply.

Select livestock from “My Herd” or enter them manually, specifying their count, weight, and your acceptable minimum price. The process is fast, and your data and farm address will initially remain hidden from buyers.

2

We compile.

The FARMSTOCK system groups your livestock with animals from other farms based on species, age, and weight. By creating maximally uniform loads (Combined Lots), we make the selection easier for large buyers and significantly speed up the sales process.

3

Auction generated.

As soon as the Combined Lot is fully assembled, it is published as an auction for verified buyers. After a successful auction, the buyer deposits funds into the FARMSTOCK escrow account, guaranteeing payment even before the animals are loaded. You will receive all progress notifications in your email and the FARMSTOCK Messages section.

Lots Rules & Process

  1. 1

    Applying to a Lot

You submit your animals by filling in precise details for each animal on the platform. Your farm's exact address is not initially disclosed to buyers.

  2. 2

    Assembly phase

FARMSTOCK experts review your submission, verify the documents, and approve the animals for inclusion in the Lot. The Lot remains open for submissions until the target volume is reached (e.g. 10 animals).

  3. 3

    Auction launch

Once the Lot is fully assembled, it is closed to new submissions and published as a single, large-scale auction for FARMSTOCK Verified Buyers.

  4. 4

    Sale & Pricing

Buyers bid per kg (or per head). When the auction closes with a winner, this fixed price is applied to the animals of all farms in the Lot.

  5. 5

    Secure Payment (FARMSTOCK Guarantee)

To protect sellers, the auction winner deposits 100% of the expected transaction amount into a FARMSTOCK escrow account before collecting the animals. Only after this deposit is the green light given for loading and precise logistics information revealed.

  6. 6

    Animal Preparation for Handover

The seller is obligated to ensure that on the day of animal handover to the buyer, the animals have been previously separated from the herd and are fully prepared for transport.

  7. 7

    Accompanying Documents Handover

The seller is obligated to hand over all required original documentation to the buyer simultaneously with the animal handover. This includes animal passports and the Veterinary Certificate (or other documents required by the buyer).

  8. 8

    Logistics Arrangement

Transport of the animals is primarily arranged by the auction winner (buyer). By mutual agreement, this may also be handled by the seller or FARMSTOCK-verified logistics partners.

  9. 9

    Weighing & Final Settlement

The actual weight of the animals is recorded at the time of loading. Once both parties have confirmed the loading data on the platform, FARMSTOCK automatically makes the exact payment to the seller based on the actual kilograms and returns any balance to the buyer.

  10. 10

    Quality & Data Compliance

The seller bears full responsibility for ensuring that the animals' actual health status, breed, and parameters match the data submitted on the platform. If hidden defects or discrepancies are discovered at the time of loading, the buyer has the right to refuse any individual animal.

  11. 11

    Listing Exclusivity and Off-Platform Sales

During an active auction, the Seller is strictly prohibited from parallelly listing, advertising, or alienating the animals in the auction on other platforms, portals, social media groups, or in direct transactions. This is necessary to ensure a fair auction process and protect the Buyers' bids. In the event of a violation of this rule, FARMSTOCK reserves the right to immediately cancel the auction and block the Seller's account, as well as apply a contractual penalty of EUR 100 to the Seller for a material breach of the platform's terms of use.

  12. 12

    Contractual Obligations & Deadlines

A concluded auction serves as a legally binding agreement. The buyer must ensure collection of the animals from the farm within 10 days of the auction closing (unless otherwise agreed by the parties).
