FARMSTOCK

About FARMSTOCK

FARMSTOCK is a digital auction platform for cattle and other livestock, currently working with farms across the Baltics. It connects farmers with verified buyers - meat processors, feedlots and exporters - across the Baltics and Europe.

Traditionally, the price is set by a single dealer who names their figure; small farms struggle to reach large buyers, and transporting livestock creates unnecessary costs, stress and weight loss. FARMSTOCK changes that: at auction, several buyers compete for your livestock, so the price is set by the market, not by one person.

Animals stay on the farm until they're sold and go straight to the buyer. Smaller farms can combine into shared loads to reach export volumes. Only eID-verified participants can take part, and in Platform-managed deals the money is held in a secure account until the animals are handed over - both sides know exactly who they're dealing with.

Behind FARMSTOCK are people who know farming and the livestock trade. We don't auction empty promises - we give farmers the tools to get what their work is truly worth.

What is FARMSTOCK?

  • Selling is free: creating and running an auction costs sellers €0.
  • The buyer pays a fixed commission fee only for a won auction.
  • The buyer fee applies only when the buyer wins and the seller confirms the deal.
  • Sellers can set a reserve price - a hidden minimum below which an animal is not sold.
  • All users are verified, including through national eID.
  • Payments are secure, and a built-in logistics panel lets you arrange transport from farm to buyer.
  • FARMSTOCK is based in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and is open to buyers across Europe.
