13 Angus × Hereford young bulls — 18 months old, ~520 kg, a uniform group from a single herd (Viljandi, Estonia) 13 Angus × Hereford crossbred young bulls are being sold at auction — all together in a single lot. All animals come from the same farm, are the same age, and have been raised under identical conditions—the buyer receives a uniform group, not animals gathered from different locations. Why This Crossbreed? The calves are sired by a purebred Angus bull and born to Hereford cows, making them approximately 50% Angus and 50% Hereford. This is one of the most widespread and proven commercial crossbreeds in the world, known for its black body and white head. The strength of this cross lies in the heterosis effect: first-generation crossbreeds grow faster, are more resilient, and are less sensitive to fluctuations in feed and weather than either parent alone. In practice, this means fewer problems during the fattening period. Both breeds also contribute a calm temperament and good meat quality with a fine muscle fiber structure. How They Are Raised The animals are raised extensively in a beef cattle herd: on pasture in the summer and fed hay and silage in the winter. They are well-developed, accustomed to grazing, and grow well. Practical benefits for the buyer: The animals have not been on an intensive grain-feeding regimen, so they have good growth potential during the finishing period. This group is suitable both for a feeder who will bring them to market weight and for a buyer seeking pasture-raised stock. By participating in this auction, you agree to the following terms:
Reserve price & confirmation. If the seller's reserve price is not reached, the seller has the right, within 24 hours after the auction ends, to accept or reject the highest bid or make a counter-offer. If the reserve price is reached or exceeded, the highest bid is automatically accepted and the seller is legally obliged to complete the transaction with the auction winner. If a bid is placed in the final minutes of the auction, the end time may be automatically extended to ensure fair bidding.
Data accuracy. The seller is fully responsible for ensuring that the actual weight, age, breed and health status of the animals correspond to what is stated.
Veterinary compliance. The seller warrants that the animals are healthy, fit for transport and have no active medicine withdrawal period.
Commission payment. After the auction is approved, the buyer must pay the platform commission within 1 business day in accordance with the Price List.
Direct settlement. Settlement for the animals takes place directly between the buyer and the seller, who agree separately on payment terms and conditions. FARMSTOCK, as an intermediary, assumes no responsibility for the execution of direct settlements.
Collection, transfer of risk and documents. The buyer and seller independently agree on transport details and the procedure for fixing weight or the number of animals. The winner must collect the animals within 10 calendar days after the auction ends. Ownership and the risk relating to the animal pass to the buyer at the moment the animal crosses the loading ramp of the vehicle. At loading, the seller hands over all required accompanying documents (including animal passports and the veterinarian's attestation); if these are missing, the buyer may refuse to accept the consignment.
Legal effect and sanctions. Each bid is a legally binding confirmation of purchase. If the auction winner unjustifiably refuses to complete the transaction, the commission already paid is not refunded and the Platform is entitled to claim compensation for the resulting damages. In the event of gross or repeated breaches, the Platform may suspend or block the account in accordance with the Terms of Use (with notice and reason; amounts not in dispute are returned).
Listing exclusivity. During an active auction, the seller is strictly prohibited from simultaneously listing, advertising or offering the same animal for sale on other platforms, classified ad portals or social media groups. In the event of a breach, FARMSTOCK is entitled to cancel the auction, block the seller's account in accordance with the Terms of Use and impose a contractual penalty of EUR 100, as well as claim compensation for the resulting damages.
